Route Features & Compliance

1. Sender ID should be 5 - 11 characters, GSMA approved standard
2. A page of SMS is 160 characters, anything more than 160 would be charged as 2 SMS pages.
3. The service mode is prepaid.
4. Sender IDs can be Alphanumeric, but the first letter should not start with a numeric value, eg, Digifru201 not 201Digifru
5. Shortcode not allowed as sender ID
6. All messages sent from 9 PM to 6 AM will be delivered after 7 AM only on MTN at the moment. other networks haven't communicated theirs

Transactional SMS traffic

For OTPs, Transactional notifications and important notifications, we are required to register all sender IDs with all the networks operators, this is to ensure delivery to both DND and non-DND enabled subscriberstached is the LOI for sender registration, please ensure that the LOI letter is done on your letterhead. We will also need their CAC certificate and any other operating license should be shared as well in PDF. The timeline for registration is 1 - 4 weeks

1. CAC – Certificate
2. NOC on the company’s letterhead for each network separately (Draft attached)

1. Provide lists of your sender IDs and the same messages in excel.
2. Prices as shared initially.
